It has been a fun-filled few weeks in the Boarding Houses with everything from army training to football golf to keep our troops busy.
At the start of the month, the boarders headed to Cornwall Football Golf; a combination of football and mini golf where players are required to kick a football around fiendishly difficult obstacles into goals.
Last week, the British Army were onsite putting the boarders through their paces. They participated in an enlightening careers presentation that showcased some unexpected careers within the Armed Forces, before taking part in problem solving challenges on the front terraces. Team 1 triumphed in the tyre stacking challenge, setting an amazing ‘time to beat’!
Malvern put their cooking and puzzle skills to the test last weekend, cooking some delicious noodle dishes, while tackling some ‘impossible’ jigsaws. Happily, some of the puzzles weren’t impossible after all, so there were satisfied smiles all round this week as one particularly difficult 1000-piece jigsaw was finished.
We look forward to sharing more adventures from our boarders with you soon.
