Pre-prep STEM club had a fascinating time yesterday when they learned all about light and dark and how they affect shadows and reflections.
The group then watched a short clip of a shadow puppet show before discussing how they thought it worked. To try out their ideas, they made their own shadow puppets, with designs from unicorns and fish to rockets and ghosts.
They were all amazed by how their puppets transformed under torchlight, and the difference cutting shapes into their designs made, as they could not see any of the pencil drawings.
