This week our lower school council met with the deputy head boy and girl to discuss a range of topics that matter to them and their peers. The group were elected within their form groups and have become part of the long history of pupil councillors which maintains an integral part of Truro School.
Discussions up for debate today included: the use of sports equipment at lunchtime, which pupils will now be able to borrow from the SBA and return at the end of lunch, improving wait times for lunch after clubs and activities, and adding lights to the pupil walkway out of school.
They also discussed previous points that have now been implemented, including the updated uniform policy allowing all pupils the choice of trousers or skirts, and better access to fruit after school, now available outside the cookery school.
