Christmas Dinner Boxes

Thank you to all the children, parents, and tutors who have donated this year to the Cornwall Christmas Box scheme.

Each box contains enough food for Christmas dinner with all the extras, including mince pies, biscuits, and of course Christmas pudding, which makes a festive feast for a family in need. This county-wide scheme has grown from 100 boxes a few years ago to over 3,500 boxes last year.

Mrs Kenward and Mrs Alford from the Community Action Team with support from the Estates Team will be loading up their cars tomorrow to deliver these festive boxes to the local drop-off point. Here are volunteers from 1J delivering their class box to the chapel. Great effort, everyone!
