The 2nd Year chapel assembly was a particularly special occasion this morning with junior colours awarded to pupils who have made a consistent and significant contribution to music, theatre and performance during their first and second Year at School. Commended and highly-commended Science Fair prizes were also awarded to pupils from the Annual Science Fair Competition, with Sarang scoping the top prize with his project “ Can you deduce whether a subject is lying using a homemade lie detector.”
Head of 2nd Year, Miss Overend, thanked all 2nd Years for their commitment, hard work, and individual contributions and is looking forward to announcing more junior colours before the end of this term.
The 2nd Year assembly ended with a spectacular modern rock version of Pachelbel’s Canon Performed by Mike and Oliver on guitar.
