Great Start to Sport

Our sports department is back in full swing with practices and fixtures taking place all this week.

We were excited to welcome over 80 girls and boys to our, first of the season, 1^st and 2^nd year football training session. It was a fantastic afternoon, and everyone showed such enthusiasm.

Golfers, Alex D, Leon B and Harrison G have been busy putting their way to success in the 2023 Southern School Cup.

Meanwhile, talented cricketer Lizzie has been excited to share her news of making the Cornwall county team, after moving to the county this summer having previously represented the Hertford county team.

Our fencers have also had a busy start to term, competing at the under 17 and under 20 national fencing championships in Nottingham. They put all their summer training to the test on the piste and came home with some excellent results.

Our U16 Rugby team had a great performance to start their season with a win against Redruth School.

Congratulations to Dan, Willoughby, Naomi and Aria who all took part in the Mad Hatters 500m sea swim at Carbis Bay. They all did extremely well, with all four pupils gaining podium finishes.
