Abstract Art Workshop with Sophie Capron

Contemporary Cornish abstract artist Sophie Capron visited our School today to work with a group of pupils from the Combined Truro Schools Art Collective. Sophie, who teaches part-time at the Roseland Academy, and Mrs Warburton conducted an abstract art and mark-making workshop with the Year 8 pupils.

The Truro Schools Art Collective, which has been active for 15 years, provides a platform for local schools to come together, collaborate, and immerse themselves in creative activities. The 2^nd Year pupils have clearly been enjoying the creative experience, interacting with each other, and learning from Sophie’s expertise as a contemporary abstract artist.
