Our Year 3 students have been delving into the world of Roald Dahl’s characters while learning about production lines and picking lists in their DT sessions this term.
Pupils have created rotating characters, allowing them to mix and match figures from Dahl’s stories in a fun and engaging way. Made primarily from wood, paper, and a reusable pencil, these sustainable products are easily recyclable, minimizing the environmental impact of this project.
This hands-on activity has linked in with this year’s Roald Dahl Day and has provided an excellent opportunity to discuss with our Year 3 pupils the concepts of product lifecycle and its effects on the environment.
