Boarders Get Ready for Christmas

The festive spirit is in full swing within our boarding community, with Christmas traditions and celebrations bringing joy to all. Malvern House hosted a magical evening of Gingerbread House making, while junior boarders decorated the Chapel Christmas tree with Rev. Helen. The result was a perfectly festive centrepiece featuring baubles, twinkling lights, and a carefully placed star.

Advent calendars kicked off December with excitement, and a Yule Log Bake Off added a delicious twist to the celebrations. Boarders worked in pairs to create and decorate their festive bakes, which were judged by our Catering team. Congratulations to Ann-Sophie and Paloma for their winning entry! The season of giving and sharing continued as the creations were enjoyed by everyone at supper.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without some holiday fun, and the boarding community embraced this at the Rollers Roller Rink in Redruth. An afternoon of skating laughter and teamwork brought together boarders of all ages, including Upper Sixth students.

The festive calendar continued at the Sixth Form Winter Ball at the Alverton Hotel, where boarders donned their finest attire for an evening of celebration and elegance.
