2nd Years Present Charity Nominations

2nd Year pupils have been busy researching, debating, and preparing video and PowerPoint presentations in support of their chosen charities for the year. During the lunchtime session, form representatives took to the Burrell stage and delivered their compelling arguments to an audience of teachers, their peers and Sixth Form students from the Community Action Team.

The shortlisted charities included Cornwall Air Ambulance, St Petroc’s, Charlie’s Star, The Monkey Sanctuary, and RNLI. Following the presentations, the charity committee will meet to discuss and decide upon the charity that the 2nd Years will support throughout the year.

The fundraising efforts will begin with the much-anticipated 2nd Year Mince Pie Mile run, scheduled for the last day of term.
