An active week
There has been some high-level sporting action this week with our 1st Year boys competing in the last 16 of the English Schools Football Association tournament. Playing away, they took the lead, were fantastic throughout, playing their best match of the season, but eventually went down 3-1, losing out to a very strong team.
Our 4th Year boys’ rugby team did us proud and have advanced to the last 16 of the national vase and will play the Clarendon Academy for a place in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, our girls have been embracing the opportunity to play rugby. 1st and 3rd Year girls have played so far and feedback from Mr Sanderson was that the girls got stuck in with the rugby practice and it felt like a competition to see who could end up the muddiest!
