Poetry and Paintings in 3rd Year English

Our 3rd year are currently studying ekphrasis poetry in English. Today they made use of our Heseltine gallery and the wonderful art pieces in it.

The pupils picked an art piece to base their own poem on and began by writing words to describe the poem, as well choosing the perspective the poem is going to be written from.
