With March on the horizon, signs of spring are appearing across the school grounds. The days are getting longer, and with school drop-offs and pick-ups in daylight once more, there’s a real sense of the seasons shifting.
As the Head Student team reminded us in last term’s bulletin, “we stand on the cusp of spring, a time of new growth and colour.” Across the site, tulip, daffodil, and crocus bulbs planted by our Gardening team are beginning to bloom, bringing fresh colour to the lawns and borders. Birds have been foraging on the front lawn, and this week’s sunshine has brought a welcome hint of warmth.
The gardens at Truro School Prep are also bursting with colour and new life, with the children making the most of the Spring sunshine during their break times.
After enjoying some milder weather on Saturday, summer doesn’t feel too far away. Before long, we’ll be making the most of our beautiful outdoor spaces again.
