Kiani Pay – Bursary Award Recipient

TS 2006 – 2013

Gaining a bursary to Truro School enabled me to grow academically and personally. On leaving school, I went to the University of Southampton where I gained an honours degree in Adult Nursing and then joined the Royal Navy as a nursing officer.

Sport has always been a major aspect of my life but it was only at school that I truly understood its link with developing leadership and teamwork. This, and having the honour of being Head Girl, provided me with the skills I have since transferred to the busy life of a hospital ward.

I will always look back fondly on my time spent at Truro School and will be forever grateful for the opportunity that laid the foundations for my future.
