Here at Truro School in Cornwall, we love the fact that 80% of our county is surrounded by sea and our boarders take full advantage of the 300 miles of beautiful coastline, dramatic headlands and wild moorlands. Every weekend spells a chance to explore Cornwall and participate in activities such as Camel Trail cycle rides; Poldu Cove; Oasis fun pool; laser tag; quad biking; coasteering; Treasure Land; horse-riding and much more.
For our International Boarders, Cornwall offers a world of adventure and culture and we encourage them to embrace as much as they can during their time at Truro School.

Located in the far west of Great Britain on a peninsula tumbling into the vast Atlantic ocean, almost completely surrounded by the sea, a magnificent coastline wraps around Cornwall for almost 300 miles.
There are lots of things Cornwall is loved for; the dramatic coastline, the dynamic art scene, vast areas of natural beauty, a world-class food scene and a rich history and culture to name but a few.
Truro School is the only Leiths Academy school in Devon and Cornwall.
Truro School has a purpose-built, state-of-the-art cookery school combining bespoke work stations with a large demonstration area, an overhead camera and a superb range of equipment.
In addition to offering a wide range of co-curricular courses to Sixth Form pupils, such as ‘Cooking on a budget for university’, and ‘Around the world’, we are the only Leiths Academy school in Devon and Cornwall.
Partnership with leading Sabre Fencing provider Truro Fencing Club
Truro School has a long-standing reputation for producing fencers of the highest quality. With our partnership with Truro Fencing Club many of our fencers have gained international honours.
For those individuals who want to keep fit and learn a new skill, or those who aspire to national team selection, we have a programme on offer to support your fencing career.
Partnership with leading football academy Saints South West
We are very proud of our partnership with leading football development centre, Saints Southwest.
Saints Southwest is an official club partner of Southampton Football Club and provides education, community, football and sporting provisions across the South West.

A-Level success remains at the core of the Sixth Form journey but it has never been more important to ensure that young adults develop values and skills via experiences and opportunities that go far beyond their academic qualifications, and in a way that supports ambition, success and wellbeing for the students’ futures beyond school.
Supported by subject teachers, tutors and the Sixth Form team, the Diploma builds on the excellent academic, pastoral and co-curricular offering to create a guided framework from which students can develop their individual pathway.
