Year 5 Maths Masterclass

Exploring probability, using tactics in games and discovering the surprising properties of the Mobius strip… these were the exciting and challenging subjects studied by over fifty Year 5 pupils at this year’s “Maths Masterclass” sessions. The enrichment sessions took place over three Saturday mornings, welcoming children from fifteen local primary schools.

Designed to encourage and develop a deeper understanding of and excitement for maths, these unique, hands-on sessions were run by our Maths Department, with a huge thank you to Mr Butterworth and his team.
