The Celebration Garden - for our community, in aid of Truro School Foundation
Truro School is steeped in over 140 years of history and our gardens are a treasured reflection of our School’s values, traditions and our place in Truro’s community.
Truro School Foundation is pleased to announce that the first phase of our new Celebration Garden is now open on our lawned terraces at the front of the School. The Garden includes formal hedging, rose beds and an underplanting of snowdrops and bluebells.
Planned by our Gardening and Development Teams, the space has been designed for celebration and reflection. To remember those who have gone before, or to commemorate a special moment in your life or that of your loved ones.
The Foundation is delighted to invite Old Truronians, and friends, the chance to order a plaque, which will be placed against one of the roses. Each plaque can be printed with a personalised message.
It is the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, wedding or anniversary, honour a milestone or to remember someone special. Whatever your reason, a personalised plaque will allow you to see your tribute in the gardens and to return each year to watch as the roses thrive in this celebratory space.
In addition, your donation to the Foundation will help us to provide means-tested bursaries to pupils. This support can be truly transformative to these young people, to their families and to the wider community.
Each plaque can be printed with a personalised message. As soon as the plaque is ready, we’ll get in touch. You are then very welcome to visit and spend time in garden at your convenience, and return each year to watch as the roses thrive.
We are also offering a limited number of personalised benches, which will sit within the Celebration Garden.

As soon as the plaque is ready, we’ll get in touch. You can then come and see it in the garden and watch as the roses flower year after year.
The Celebration Garden has been created by the Foundation as a space to celebrate all that our community has to offer. Your gift will go towards life-changing bursaries for future recipients, so that in turn, they can celebrate our community.
Your gift will be marked by:
10 years, after which time you will have the opportunity to renew with a further donation. We will need to ensure we have any changes to your contact details over this time, so that we can keep you updated.

You can purchase as many plaques as you wish, as gifts for yourself, and others too.
Funds will go towards the Truro School Foundation, designed to provide an opportunity for life-changing bursaries to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.

Yes, you can visit the Celebration Garden as often as you wish during school hours. Please sign in at Reception on arrival.
We hope to continue to grow and enhance the Garden, with walkways and further planting ongoing. Work will be completed in phases.
