1st Year Footsteps of Discovery

This week, our 1st Years embarked on a day of team building in the stunning setting of Nantillio Woods, near Newquay. Held across two days, activities included developing rope and bushcraft skills, orienteering and code-breaking. Each day finished with an epic competition of ‘Stand By’, which required knot-tying and teamwork skills to win.

Run by Footsteps of Discovery, the days are a part of Truro School’s structured induction programme into the Lower School. This programme enables our newest recruits to solidify friendships, work together and develop compassion for others.
