3rd Year German Café Role-Play

With schnitzel and rindfleisch on the menu, room 60 in Languages this week could have been mistaken for a bustling pavement café on the Rhine. Mrs Srikanthan asked her pupils to prepare and role-play an experience in a German café. A table was set up with play food, and all the teams had to role-play a dining scene from a café, practising all they had been learning about food and eating out.

Peer reviews encouraged constructive feedback, while the teacher assessed grammar, vocabulary, accent, and intonation. The lively session included flamboyant acting reminiscent of Basil Fawlty, creating an enjoyable learning experience. Special thanks to Mrs Srikanthan for organising this fun and memorable learning activity, and well done to all our pupils for their enthusiastic performances.
