Every Wednesday morning before the start of school, 3rd Year pupils have been running around the sports pitches to enhance their listening and leadership skills. Each week, a different tutor group takes the lead in organising sporting activities for their peers, giving them a glimpse into what it entails to lead a large group of 3rd Year pupils. This experience requires them to actively listen, adapt, and modify game rules based on learning from previous weeks. This morning, they participated in an adapted tag invasion game, a purposeful opportunity to play and practise teamwork in the early morning.
This initiative has been developed and led by Mr.Hooper to remind 3rd Year pupils about empathy, teamwork and leadership.
