A Barrow Load of Success

Our gardening team have had much to celebrate this month as not only is this a key month for pruning, mulching and bulb planting ahead of the spring flower display, but they have also received a barrow load of success in the Truro City Council, Annual Garden and Allotments Competition. Our wonderful gardening team won three prizes overall, including the Spitfire Cup for the Best-kept School Garden and the Glasteinan Shield for 1st place in the Best Wildlife-Friendly Garden. It is very important to us that Truro School’s grounds are a lovely place to learn and work, and they also go a long way to support wildlife, diversity and the linking of green spaces throughout our city.

What’s more, our friendly gardening team is always ready with a smile and a warm hello, no matter what the weather. We think they really deserve these accolades. Congratulations to Tom and all his team.
