It has been a busy few weeks for the Truro Cathedral Choir as they returned to sing after the summer break. On the 10th September, the new probationer choristers were welcomed. The new head choristers were presented with their medals, marking their final year of service with the choir.
Congratulations to the new probationers, Logan, Luca, Sebastian and Tom, Farrah, Lilla, Lottie, Matilda, Scarlett and Tilly. Congratulations also to Alfie, Joseph, Bryher, Lowenna and Oriel, our new head choristers.
Our annual ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’ event is taking place on the 9th of November this year and is the perfect opportunity for girls to experience life as a chorister, from morning rehearsal through to school lessons, and finally a short service of Evensong when they will have the chance to sing with the Cathedral Choir.
The event is open to girls currently in Years 7 and 8, especially those considering entry to the choir as they enter Year 9.
