A Busy Start to Term at Pre-Prep

There was learning and fun in spadefuls in Pre-Prep this week as the first full week of term got underway.

There was plenty of play in Nursery as the children settled into their new surroundings and made new friends, while Reception was busy getting to grips with the ‘S’ sound; familiarising themselves with the sound by finding objects and matching the sound to the written letter before practising their writing.

In maths, the Year 1s were representing objects with counters, numbers and words, while the Year 2s were making a splash in the pool, perfecting their front crawl techniques.
