A career in the Royal Navy

Navy Liaison Officer Lt Dave Kime gave an informal talk in the Careers Room about the many career pathways in the Royal Navy, and how to enter as an Officer.

The Lieutenant talked a bit about his own background and how he started out at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, before his first 8-month trip being on a Frigate, taking him across the Atlantic through the Panama, down to South America, and across to Africa where it sailed up the coast homeward bound.

The relaxed atmosphere enabled the small group to be chatty and ask questions.
