A Sunny Start to the WAA Spring Term

Our Wednesday Afternoon Activities for the Spring Term launched on a wonderfully sunny afternoon.

Our outdoor football pitches buzzed with pupils preparing for an upcoming season of fixtures, with all players honing their skills, practising core techniques, and focusing on fitness. Over on the netball courts, a strong turnout saw pupils practising skill-building exercises, fitness drills, and match training. The beginner fencing group practised their parry and attack manoeuvres under Mrs Jupp’s guidance in the Sir Ben Ainslie Centre (SBA).

All of our pupils at Truro School enjoy participating in the wide range of activities offered in our Wednesday Afternoon Activities programme, from sports to ceramics, cookery, debating and much more.  While broadening their horizons and perfecting or learning new skills, this programme also enables our pupils to mix with other year groups, helping to foster a stronger sense of community and well-being.
