It has been a busy Easter holiday here at Truro School, with many events and activities happening across the school grounds. The SBA has been hosting its regular football camps with Saints Southwest, some fun Peter Pan theatre workshops for young actors, and the popular inflatable sessions in the swimming pool have been enjoyed by many local families.
The cookery school also hosted an incredible evening of local talent and Cornish Seafood by the Galley Gang from Falmouth. Our pupils have been participating in Cornwall Youth Orchestra Concerts in Truro Cathedral, Ten Tors & DofE Practice walks, and a tennis trip to Portugal. Our Boy Choristers also performed in St Mary’s Parish Church during a brief breezy visit to the Isles of Scilly.
On Monday, we were delighted to welcome back all our staff for two days of strategic planning and training for all our teaching and operations team members. The Estate team has been busy as ever, including finishing work on the terraces and maintaining the grounds ready for the beginning of the new term.
This afternoon we were thrilled to see our boarders returning to their boarding houses, and we look forward to welcoming the whole school back tomorrow for the start of an action-packed summer term.
