An Evening of Outstanding LAMDA Performances

Friends and family gathered for an evening celebrating the dramatic talents of Truro School’s LAMDA pupils. The annual showcase featured an impressive selection of monologues, duologues, group work and public speaking, with students from Grade 2 to Grade 8 demonstrating their hard work and passion for performance. Each pupil delivered their piece with confidence and conviction, captivating the audience with their storytelling skills.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) is one of the UK’s most prestigious drama awarding bodies, offering qualifications that develop acting technique, communication skills, and confidence. Through their LAMDA training, pupils not only refine their stagecraft but also gain valuable life skills (and UCAS points) that extend far beyond the theatre.

A huge well done to all the performers for their dedication and talent. Special thanks go to Claire Rawlinson, Truro School’s LAMDA teacher, for guiding and inspiring pupils throughout their journey. Best of luck to everyone for their upcoming LAMDA exams.
