Be a Girl Chorister Day

We were delighted to welcome so many aspiring choristers from all over Cornwall to this year’s ‘Be a Girl Chorister for a Day’ event.

The girls were given a true taste of chorister life. Their day began with morning rehearsals at 8 am at school, where they joined existing choristers and Truro Cathedral’s Director of Music. They then enjoyed a typical school day with girls from other schools partnered up with a Truro School buddy.

In the afternoon, the girls headed to Truro Cathedral, only a short walk away from the school, for an afternoon of activities and rehearsals.

Our current choristers then joined them for Evensong. This was open to the public and a lovely way for the aspiring choristers to end their day.
