Be A Girl Chorister For A Day

We were delighted to welcome so many aspiring choristers to this year’s ‘Be a Girl Chorister for a Day’ event.

The girls were given a true taste of life as a chorister. They began their day with morning rehearsals at 8 am at school, where they joined existing choristers and Truro Cathedral’s Director of Music. They then enjoyed a typical school day, and of course, a Truro School lunch.

In the afternoon, the girls headed to Truro Cathedral, only a short walk away from the school. There was lots of excitement between the girls as they toured the cathedral before beginning rehearsals in the crypt.

Our current choristers then joined them for Evensong. This was open to the public and a lovely way for the aspiring choristers to end their day.
