County Hockey Champs!

We are delighted to announce that our U11 hockey squad were crowned County Champions on Friday. With an unprecedented nine teams entered in the County Hockey Cup this year, Truro School Prep took 14 of our Year 6 boys to Penzance, all of whom were filled with excitement for the day ahead.

The whole squad were fantastic ambassadors for the school and played a good passing style of hockey. They moved the ball quickly from back to front, using the sides of the pitch to their advantage and were ruthless in front of goal.

Both teams put in great performances in the spring sunshine, with a middle table finish for the Development side and the 1st Team going unbeaten all day to become Cornish Champions. Congratulations to all of our players for showing great confidence, courage and excellent camaraderie throughout the day.
