Creativity in abundance in Wednesday Afternoon Activities

The Art and Design and Technology Departments were awash with creativity as this week’s Wednesday Afternoon Activities got underway.

Skulls were the inspiration for some stunning clay creations in the Art Department. There was plenty of core strength needed to bash, smash and roll the clay into submission!

Tapestry was slightly less strenuous, with some beautiful 3-D designs being created.

The DT department was busy with various designs, including some brilliant cheese boards which required considerable thought and planning. Meanwhile, lots of pupils were transfixed by the laser cutter, bringing their digital designs to life.

These are just a handful of the brilliant WAA available at Truro School, both on and off-site. Thanks again to all of the staff who make these inspirational afternoons possible.
