Our boy choristers led an assembly today via zoom. Over 800 pupils from primary schools across the county joined to find out all about what happens in a chorister rehearsal.
Born out of schools’ enthusiasm for the choristers Sing2G7 project, the idea behind the Mega Zoom Assembly was to offer an inspirational time of music and faith, with, once again, children leading and uniting children right across the county.
Primary schools were able to join the ‘chorister spycam’ from 8:45, where they could eavesdrop on the choristers’ normal morning. They then took part in their morning rehearsal, where they explored Psalm 23, led by Rev Kelly Betteridge, Archdeacon of Bodmin, before sharing some prayers they’d written for the assembly.
We look forward to doing similar events in the future and welcoming more schools to see what being a chorister has to offer.
