Our daily activities release significant amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. An increase in greenhouse gases leads to more trapped heat, resulting in a warmer Earth and contributing to climate change.
It is crucial that we take action to combat this issue. This month marks ‘Cut Your Carbon November,’ and Eco-Schools are challenging young people across the UK to address their carbon footprints.
We are encouraging all pupils, staff and their families to reflect on their carbon emissions and take positive steps to reduce them with a set of 6 simple actions to do with family and friends, to raise awareness, change behaviours, and Cut Your Carbon.
