Dramatic Pirates Storm the Stage at Prep

As a part of our World Book Week celebrations, our lucky Year 5 pupils were treated to a workshop led by Simply Theatre, Switzerland’s premier English-speaking Performing Arts training school and Theatre Company.

Led by Jenna and Richard, the day offered drama warm-ups and games and workshops that explored movement, acting, character and music, with our pupils working as individuals or in groups. Each workshop led towards a final ‘performance’ of a pirate captain’s party, complete with cannon fire, deck swabbing and a plethora of cheeky parrots.

Jenna and Richard then offered an additional after-school session for pupils outside of Year 5 to enjoy.
