A joint life drawing session took place in the Art department with Truro School and Richard Lander pupils getting together to learn how to set up easels, the human form and how to work with proportions, mark-making and building up a drawing through stages.
Mr Brett, teacher of Art, said: ‘The students did really well and much of the work was impressive, as was their conduct. The idea of other schools joining Truro School’s life drawing classes has long been an aim for the Art department, and there is talk of this happening again’.
The session was formed at the Private View of the Combined Truro Schools Art Project, where talks were had with Nicky Dalby, Head of Art at Richard Lander.
Truro School is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust (MIST)
