Early Literacy Uncovered

Our phenomenal Pre-Prep team welcomed parents and carers for a valuable overview of early reading for children. The session was an introduction to how ready is taught for children aged from 3-7. It offered an insight into our early years curriculum and shared with families the types of texts their children will experience during their time at Truro School Pre-Prep.

Our Pre-Prep proudly offers an educational journey that builds early foundations using a phonics programme and literacy-rich curriculum. There is also a focus on gross and fine motor skills in the classroom that helps to prepare even our youngest pupils for early writing.

From our outstanding, co-educational teacher-led Nursery provision to the end of Year 2, our Pre-Prep teaching gives our pupils a fantastic platform for learning and development, ensuring a flying start for all.
