First Steps at Early Years Open Morning

It was delightful to welcome so many families to view our Pre-Prep facilities at this year’s Nursery and Reception Open Morning.

Families were invited to meet our pupils and staff and explore how our Early Years offering provides the perfect platform for early learning and development. Our Nursery and Reception classes offer teacher-led provision and, alongside extensive opportunities for play-based learning, we also teach early phonics, maths and writing to give our pupils the very best start in their educational journey.

It was fantastic to see little ones looking so at home in our classrooms and outdoor spaces, while families chatted to our specialist and classroom teachers and toured the Prep with Mr Morse to view our swimming pool, sports hall, library and other spaces even our youngest pupils can enjoy at Truro School Prep.
