Hall for Cornwall Concert

From the spectacular sounds of the samba band to the melodic beauty of our talented Upper Sixth soloists, the Hall for Cornwall was filled with music at Monday’s concert, titled ‘Truro School Goes Around the World’.

Celebrating and embracing sounds and stories from around the world, the concert showcased acts and ensembles from across our Senior and Prep School, interlaced with presentations from our international community.

The audience enjoyed a breathtaking display of talent throughout the evening with performances from our girl choristers, symphony orchestra, pop choir, combined samba bands, chamber choir, senior jazz band, barbershop group, donut group, wind band, 1st Year girls’ and boys’ groups, Prep strings and solos from our Upper Sixth.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Hall for Cornwall team for welcoming us so warmly into their newly renovated space and to the music department for their endless organisation, patience and support throughout the show. A big thank you to all the pupils and students for putting on a fabulous show and to the families who shared the evening with us.
