It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Our fantastic gardening team have been working their bells off to get the school ready for Christmas!

Last week, Christmas trees arrived and were erected across the sites, including the senior school’s largest tree outside the Sixth Form Centre for all pupils to enjoy. It took some teamwork and tractor navigating skills from the team to get it into place.

Now lit, in an impromptu ceremony by Mr Pope, Mrs Jobling and Mr Hooper, the tree is ready to spread Christmas cheer amongst our community.

The gardening team have also been busy forging material from across the school sites to make reindeer. A herd of reindeer have now been placed around the Senior and Prep schools – made using natural materials. There are several Rudolph’s to be spotted, along with a Reindeer for each member of the team, that they have named after themselves.

Over at the Prep a tree has arrived in the main hallway, garnished with decoration, whilst Reception staff have decorated the windows. The Pre-Prep children have been busy making their own festive artwork to adorn the walls of their classrooms.

Thank you to our gardening team for their hard work getting everything ready. We hope that you enjoy the decorations as you venture around the schools and get into the Christmas spirit.
