January Boarding Round up
It’s been a busy start of term for our boarders, with lessons back in full swing. Still, they’ve enjoyed lots of weekend activities between homework, revision for mocks for our sixth formers, and the other array of sports fixtures and clubs our Boarders are a part of.
The term started with a day of mindfulness, with our boarders learning the benefits of yoga, exercise, and mindfulness to our mental health and positive wellbeing. The following weekend, a new member joined our boarding family, Nonu the spaniel! Everyone was excited to meet her, and she received lots of cuddles and attention.
This month the boarders have also ventured further afield to participate in a range of off-site activities, from ice skating at the Eden project, horse riding at a local stable, and quad biking in very muddy conditions.
The boarders also wished a happy 18th birthday to Malvern’s Issy. AJ and Aim made a beautiful cake to celebrate. As well as cake baking, the boarders have decided, this term, to celebrate the diversity of the houses by having themed food days. This month started with Pippa and Luzia baking German breads with traditional toppings to share with their housemates.
