Lark Rise on the Terraces

The Truro School Terraces have been transformed into an idyllic country hamlet for the junior play production of Lark Rise. This unique setting adds a special charm to the performance.

1st to 3rd Year pupils from the WAA drama group, have worked with the English and drama department to bring this production to life. They portray the wonderfully colourful characters of Lark Rise on the first day of harvest, a captivating snapshot of social history set in the 1880s with a distinct Cornish theme. The performances include some wonderfully quirky characters in funny scenes, poignant moments, and uplifting tunes provided by our talented musicians.

Thank you to Mrs. Sanderson, Mrs. Husband, the drama department, our musical team led by Samson Hooper, and the tech and events teams for their invaluable support in bringing this wonderful production to fruition.
