At breaktime, some of our Year 6 pupils gathered in the Dining Room to meet with the School Chaplain, Rev Helen. Rotated amongst the three Year 6 classes each half term, these ‘Chat with the Rev’ sessions are designed to allow our oldest pupils at Truro School Prep to ask some of life’s ‘bigger questions’ regarding life, faith and the universe.
With some snacks at hand to fuel their thinking, our pupils were given the chance to anonymously write questions for the Rev to answer.
Questions can be private and named if pupils choose to use this session to ask something they are anxious about or wish to keep confidential. In these cases, the Rev will take time to respond to each individual in a one-to-one chat.
Pupils will return the following week to discuss the questions and share their thoughts.
We would like to thank Rev Helen for this inspiring initiative which forms a part of the rich tapestry of pastoral care at Truro School and Truro School Prep.
