Judges were left astounded by the quality of work from the 2nd Years as they presented their finished ‘Ma Maison’ projects today.
The class were given free rein to create a house design; the only requirement was that it was correctly labelled with key terms from a french home (such as la cave and le jardin). The finished projects were fantastic, showcasing a range of design techniques, artistic flair and creative approaches.
Unable to choose, the teachers left voting to the pupils who chose a winner in two categories; best 3-D model and best paper plan.
Scarlett was a clear winner in the paper design category, with 2nd place being awarded to Lily. The 3-D category was hotly contested, with Matthew and Theo tying for 2nd and Leah and Eliza claiming the overall win.
Well done to all pupils who showed such creativity and linguistic flair.
