Much loved macrame club has started up again with pupils from 1st to 3rd Year keen to learn the craft. During the club Mrs Chanter takes pupils through the various knot techniques to get them started and from then on they develop their own creative projects such as plant holders, decorations and wall hangings.
Crafting activities such as macrame are very popular with boys and girls across the school. We are always keen to provide a range of creative and mindful clubs and activities for pupils to develop new skills and also as a way to unwind after lessons, which may turn into personal hobbies in future. Other activities in the calendar this term include sock creatures, card making, braiding and embroidery.
