Miles of Santa Smiles

In a fun display of festive cheer and community spirit, 2nd Year pupils and staff put on their Santa hats, dinosaur costumes and trainers for the ‘Mince Pie Mile’ run around the school grounds. This event was to raise funds for the RNLI, a charity chosen unanimously by our 2nd Year pupils and Community Action Team during their charity presentations.

After an energising warm-up session in the SBA, participants ran, jogged, and walked the mile-long course. The event was a tremendous success, with everyone putting in a fantastic effort, even after a hearty Christmas lunch. Miss Overend expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their efforts and wished everyone a very Merry Christmas. Donations to this worthy cause are welcome here.
