Money, Marx and the Almighty

Today’s A-Level RS conference, titled ‘Money, Marx, and the Almighty,’ took place in the Burrell Theatre.

We were privileged to have Dr Peter Vardy, a distinguished British theologian and author known for his work on religion and ethics, lead three insightful seminars for A-Level students. His engaging talks covered business ethics, Marxist Liberation Theology, and philosophical perspectives on the concept of God. The day concluded with stimulating debates, during which Dr Vardy awarded copies of his latest books as prizes.

We were thrilled to also welcome  A-Level students from Camborne and Newquay Tretherras, who joined us for this event. We sincerely thank Dr Vardy for inspiring us with his expertise and passion for these subjects, leaving us with a much deeper understanding of these subjects and a curiosity to learn more.
