Naomi at National Schools Biathle Championships

Naomi took part in the National Schools Biathle Championships last Sunday in Sherborne. There were 280 children competing from Years 3-13.

Her race consisted of a 400m run, 50m swim, and 400m run. Naomi had 26 girls in the Year 6 race which they split into two heats. The transitions were better this time with no somersaults! It was a tough, fast race but she did really well and came 2nd in her heat out of 13 girls and came 5th overall with a time of 4:27.29.

Medals were awarded to 6th place so Naomi said it was well worth the drive, as she loves a medal!
