Netball Fun for Year 5 Girls

The Year 5 girls travelled to Truro High School on Wednesday for an afternoon of fun netball matches.

They were very excited to be going off-site for a fixture and were eager to get playing. We split into two High 5s teams, allowing the girls lots of opportunities to swap positions and play across the whole court; those that were not playing took on the important role of official photographers!

The girls played brilliantly; they have not had a lot of match practice but were able to pass the ball to each other down the court and grew in confidence to defend in the circle. We will now look to build on this and tighten up our footwork and ability to create space within games lessons and netball club.
