Resolute Jujitsu at Prep

Every Thursday, our pupils at Truro School Prep take part in a structured programme of cross-curricular activities that includes cookery, first aid and dance. This Thursday saw Year 6 pupils participate in the most recent addition to our senior activities programme at Truro School Prep, Brazilian Jujitsu.

Mark Connaughton of Resolute Jujitsu, Truro, led our pupils in the first of a four-week block of training in the art of Jujitsu. Mark tailored the session perfectly to our children, teaching them all the necessary skills to land safely and roll, in preparation for future weeks of developing their Jujitsu techniques. The children were active and engaged throughout the session, taking away many skills they can apply to their future learning in all areas of the school.
