Robin and The Sherwood Hoodies

On World Theatre Day (27th March 2025), our Year 3 pupils wowed audiences at Truro School Prep with their hilarious play ‘Robin and His Sherwood Hoodies. ’ The “West End worthy” production follows Robin Hood and his band of misfit outlaws as they battle the scheming Sheriff of Nottingham, rescue Maid Marion and overthrow King John, all while trying not to ladder their tights.

Directed by Mrs Morse, our pupils first performed in front of their peers before taking to the stage again on Thursday evening to a packed audience of parents and carers. Every pupil from Year 3 was involved in delivering a truly outstanding production, demonstrating impressive courage, confidence and teamwork.

Musical Director Mrs Eva remarked, “This performance is a culmination of an entire term’s drama lessons; we have been amazed by the energy and enthusiasm shown by all of the pupils in mastering complex lines, songs and choreography to such a high level at such a young age. They really are phenomenal”.
